In Renville, Minnesota, I was called to assist with an unusual project locating a lost pig named Paisley. After a two-hour drive to the farm, the owner explained where Paisley’s pen was and gave me an estimated area to search. Within just ten minutes of flying, I felt led to scan the valley and creek about an eighth of a mile behind the farmhouse. From 400 feet, then 200 feet, and finally 50 feet above the ground, my drone captured images confirming Paisley’s location in the valley line next to the creek. Remarkably, I hadn’t even asked what color the pig was beforehand, yet through persistence and by God’s guidance, I spotted the brown pig hidden in the landscape. After notifying the farmer, we quickly set out with a UTV and later a skid steer equipped with a crate. Together, we successfully rescued Paisley and returned her safely home. The project ended with relief, smiles, and gratitude all glory to God for a safe and successful mission.
